Jeffrey J. Horowitz joined Vitacost.com on August 3, 2010 as a Consultant and was also appointed to the Company's Board of Directors. He was named Interim Chief Executive Officer of Vitacost.com on August 16, 2010 and was named Chief Executive Officer on February 17, 2011. Mr. Horowitz is the former founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. which he founded in 1977 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1977 to 2004. During this time, he oversaw the retail expansion from one store to over 200 stores in 11 states. In addition, Mr. Horowitz further expanded Vitamin Shoppe's business by establishing a catalog to solicit mail order sales in 1981 and is a pioneer in the online vitamin sales industry with the launch of VitaminShoppe.com in 1998.

Brian Helman joined Vitacost.com in February 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Helman has nearly 20 years of combined financial and accounting experience, and was most recently Chief Financial Officer of Intermedix Corporation, a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions. Prior to joining Intermedix, Mr. Helman was Chief Financial Officer of Rosetta Stone Inc., a leading provider of technology-enabled language learning solutions, where he directed all of the Company's financial activities in a rapid growth environment and led its initial public offering in 2009. Prior to joining Rosetta Stone Inc., Mr. Helman was Chief Financial Officer at NEON Systems from 2002 to 2006 and also held senior level financial positions at NetSpeak Corporation from 1996 to 2001. Mr. Helman is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida and was named CFO of the Year by the Washington Business Journal in 2009.

David Zucker joined Vitacost.com in August 2011 as Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Zucker has over 20 years of e-commerce, marketing, and customer analytical experience, and was most recently Chief Marketing Officer of Gilt Group, Inc., an online lifestyle retailer offering highly coveted products and services from 2010 to 2011. He joined Gilt in November 2009 as the Vice President of Customer Marketing. During his tenure at Gilt, he developed and executed the personalization process and helped double membership and triple customers. Prior to joining Gilt Group, Inc., Mr. Zucker was the Global Director of Customer Relationship Management and Implementation at Dell Inc. and has also held senior positions at the Home Shopping Network, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Priceline.com. Mr. Zucker holds a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Rhode Island, a M.S. in Applied Economics from West Virginia University and a B.S. in Biology from West Virginia University. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida and Rutgers University.

Jay Topper joined Vitacost.com in August 2012 as Chief Information Officer/Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Topper has over 20 years of senior level leadership experience and 10 years of Chief Information Officer experience and was most recently Senior Vice President of Customer Success of Rosetta Stone Inc., a leading provider of technology-enabled language learning solutions. He served as Rosetta Stone's first Chief Information Officer from 2007 through 2009, leading the technology department through the initial public offering and gaining Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to joining Rosetta Stone Inc., Mr. Topper was Senior Vice President of Operations at Apex Covantage, a pre-press and engineering BPO consulting firm from 2005 to 2007. He served as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Indian Operations of Seven Worldwide (Schawk), a pre-media/pre-press company from 2001 to 2005 and served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Chief of Staff of Production Resource Group, an entertainment technology company from 1997 to 2001. He was a commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard from 1986 to 1997. Mr. Topper holds an M.S. in Telecommunications & Information Management from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University and a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Ellen Finnerty joined Vitacost.com in April 2011 as Vice President Human Resources and was named Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2013.  Ms. Finnerty has over 20 years experience in human resources building company environments that encourage management and employees to achieve their full potential.  From 2007 – 2010 she served as Senior Vice President Human Resources for First Capital, a specialized commercial finance company providing working capital lines of credit to small and medium-sized companies nationally.  Prior to joining First Capital, from 2003 – 2007, Ms. Finnerty was Vice President Human Resources for Fidelity National Information Services, a Fortune 500 financial services company.  Prior to Fidelity National, she was Senior Vice President Human Resources for Palm Beach National Bank & Trust, and also previously worked in the Human Resources departments for the City of Palm Beach Gardens and at Florida Power and Light Co.  Ms. Finnerty holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Florida and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is Past President of the Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County and was awarded the 2010 Woman Extraordinaire by South Florida Business Leader.

Mary L. Marbach joined Vitacost.com in July 2009 and was appointed General Counsel in December 2009 and was named Corporate Secretary in July 2010.    Ms. Marbach was appointed Chief Legal Officer of Vitacost.com in January 2013.  Ms. Marbach has been practicing law for over twelve years and was most recently Senior Transactional Counsel at Imperial Finance and Trading, LLC in Boca Raton, Florida.  Ms. Marbach was an associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP in its Corporate and Securities Group in Boca Raton, Florida from 2002 through 2004.   Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, LLP, she was an associate at Morrison & Foerster, LLP in its Corporate & Securities Group in Palo Alto, California.  Ms. Marbach holds a JD from Boston University School of Law, an MBA from the University of Miami, and a BS from Syracuse University.  Ms. Marbach is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Florida.

Kathleen Reed joined Vitacost in January 2010 as the Director of Investor Relations. Ms. Reed has 15 years of Wall Street experience and has covered the consumer products sector as a sell-side equity analyst since 1998. She formerly had been a Senior Vice President at the Stanford Group for five years and was with Merrill Lynch in New York City from 1996 through 2002. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Ms. Reed worked as an Industry Analyst at Smith Barney. Ms. Reed began her investment career as a Portfolio Manager at Doheny Asset Management.

She received the #2 ranking in the Wall Street Journal's Best on the Street survey for 2007 and was awarded Honorable Mention in the 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2007 Institutional Investor Survey. She also received Honorable Mention in the 2000 Greenwich survey. Ms. Reed earned her BS in Mathematics at the University of Miami and her MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
